Venue capacities are max 150 people per booking as per our safety regulations.
Your team will be responsible for all setup and take-down of décor.
Restricted items:
We do not allow the use of any real flame candles, sparklers, fireworks, floating lanterns or anything with open flame.
No decor affixed to walls or ceilings. All decor must be easily removable and cause no damage to the site (stick on hooks are allowed)
We do not allow glitter, confetti, rice or silly string as the clean up is impossible. If you wish to have guests throw items when you walk down the aisle we recommend bird seed or dried flower petals.
If you do have extra décor that may interfere with this policy, we ask that you get in touch with your Wedding Coordinator before purchasing anything, as we do have the right to refuse.
We know your budget is the most important aspect of your planning process, which is why we are always fully transparent with our services and charges. Our pricing may vary depending on the time of year, weekend or week-day rates and any additional services you wish to add to your package. We can work with you to help bring your vision to life within your budget constraints.
Absolutely, we encourage couples to source their own services, but we do have some vendors that come highly recommended.
Please note: You must supply your own special event liquor license. (Proof required) and hire your own pro-serve bartenders and servers. If you book a professional bartending service from one of our preferred vendors, they will include this in their service.
All of our sites are non-heated and have 3 season availability. We are opening our doors for official bookings for 2025 and 2026 from the July long weekend to after the September long weekend. In special cases, we will open for an off-season event. Please contact our staff and submit a special request.
In case of unforgiving weather, RVA has you covered. We offer our Quonset indoor reception area as a ceremony backup, ensuring your ceremony can proceed seamlessly and beautifully, regardless of the weather. Our dedicated wedding coordinators will manage all the logistics so you can relax and enjoy your special day stress-free. In fact, some couples prefer this space as a ceremony setup from the beginning.
When we say Barn, we mean it! There will be many animals already on site such as horses, chickens and dogs. We love our animals and know you do too, which is why we kindly ask if your pet is part of your party that it remains on a leash and under control at all times. Any 'business' it may have is promptly picked up and disposed of.
If you have a horse, we offer overnight paddock and pasture space at $40 per day. The owner will be responsible for providing hay and feed accordingly.
Yes, and lots of overflow as well. However, please note there is absolutely NO street parking anywhere off the venue. We always recommend carpooling or shuttle service to and from a designated space at specific times.
Yes, but only in designated smoking areas.
No. Not at this time. We do supply fans to help with the summer heat. Some couples consider renting portable heaters for the cool spring or fall evenings. In true Alberta weather please bring layers!
Yes, however, it is very rugged terrain.
No. You can hire any caterer/ food truck/ pig roast you desire.
Please note: there are no kitchen facilities available on site. Caterers included on our list are aware and have the equipment to transport and keep food hot and are within close enough proximity for optimal freshness.
At this time, we supply clean Porta-Potties on-site and washing stations.
Yes! We have a wedding coordinator who will give 5 hours of service free of charge for RVA couples. The owners will also be on site to help out with anything else you may need. Additional specialized staff, bartenders, servers, cleaners etc. will not be supplied.
Yes! We're proud to say that Raven's View Acres is secluded from on-lookers or unwanted traffic. You and your guests will have exclusive and private access to the property during your stay. We do not book more than one event at a time.
Our deposits are non-refundable, but we understand that plans can change. If you cancel more than 14 days before your event, we’re happy to transfer your deposit to a new date within 18 months of the original booking. Please note that package pricing may be subject to change. Unfortunately, cancellations made within 14 days of the event are non-transferable, and the deposit will remain non-refundable.
